I sold another picture, this time to JEMS - Journal of EMS. It's only a small picture to be used on their Table of Contents for their January 2010 issue. The picture is of the paramedic's "drug box".

Bad news is that a co-worker and I were involved in a car accident today. Good news is that no one was hurt, it was not my car and we were hit by the State of Louisiana DOT. (funny my back now hurts) I need some reparation.
This proves that cell phone, texting and not paying attention while driving causes accidents. The guy who hit us was not paying attention, locked up his brakes, and smashed into our left rear quarter panel. No one got hurt, the cops sorted everything out and we were back on the road in about 40 minutes.
Be careful out there..........
Maybe the world is going to end becuase it's now snowing in Houston. In a week or so, I'll be cutting the grass for the last time in 2009. I'll be wearing shorts and a T'shirt too. Very weird weather, those in the North need to keep that cold weather up North where it belongs.
We survived another trip to West Texas and Big Bend National Park. We had no major breakdowns, issues, illegal boarder crossings and no pixels were harmed during our shoot. As usual we practiced with our strobes, off-camera flash and even messed around with sync speeds of 1/1,250 sec. using Alien Bees triggers on a Canon G10 - Hot.
Like always, go here for the rest of the images: Big

I need more computing power so Vu helped me pick out the latest and greatest equipment and tonight we assembled - "The Beast" We are waiting on software, Windows 7 Ultimate and Office 2007, it arrives this Monday. The Beast has a hot Asus P7P55D EVO Motherboard, Intel Quad-Core i7, 2.80 GHz Processor, 8GB RAM, 320GB hard drive for the operating system and two 1.5 TB hard drives in a RAID 1 configuration for my data, and all goes into a Sonata III 500. Of course it has WLAN card for Wi-Fi, Dedicated Video Card, DVD burner, etc.
This thing should be smokin' fast with enough horsepower to handle all my photo editing - Hot. I took some snap shots as we put everything together.
That's how I roll yo! read more
